Perhaps… these boredom busters can be a resource for creating circles of relationships and break the ice for others to find their way into community. All of these boredom busters will require a little bit of risk and resourcefulness. Don’t let that stop you! If you can’t find friends willing to take the risk, don’t give up. Lighten up and laugh a little and see who will laugh along with you!
Pick a topic that interests you, and spend 30 minutes researching your topic, 30 minutes crafting a TED-type talk, then meet with your friends to give a 5-7 minute “TED Talk.” Maybe you could even create a few topics and pick them out of a hat?! Things like … Things you might want to know BEFORE attempting to run a Marathon, or What Really Is The Price Of Tea in China, and What About The Price Of Coffee In China? You have creative license to make it as serious or as lighthearted as you and your friends like it.
